MACIF Gestion, as shareholder of the companies held in the portfolios under management, is responsible for voting on General Meetings resolutions. This implies to be able to answer to over 100 European companies, with an average of 15 resolutions for each.
This task is achieved through electronic proxy-voting and direct exercise during General meetings.

MACIF Gestion is also invested in the Proxy Active Investors mutual fund created by Phitrust.
The purpose of this mutual fund is to gather investors especially engaged in promoting and trying to orientate, within companies, best, or at least, better governance practices.
The Proxy Active Investors fund behaves as an active shareholder towards companies it is invested in. By investing with a long term horizon, they aim to support European companies with valuable financial fundamentals and to advise them on their corporate governance strategy.
